We talked to some really nice people at a nursing home in a hospital.
One of them was the last survivor of Pearl Harbor and he was 99 going onto 100 yrs old. One of his friends had lied about his age to get into the Navy.He also got signatures form the presidents - one of them was Obama. He also got a flag that was given to him on the last day of duty.
Then we split up into groups of two and visited other people from the nursing home. We asked them questions and talked about their lives.
We enjoyed this and want to do it again!
